For Alexandra Gibson, the founder of Sien + Co, the search for the perfect fiber was ignited five years ago during a spontaneous excursion to Nepal. The trip, which started out a bit disastrously as Gibson was traveling with her then 4-year old daughter and braved several days without their missing luggage, ended up being a life-changing adventure that took Gibson from her event management position to running her own textile design studio, now based in Park City, Utah.
