Celebrating summer with Brier & Byrd and Kneeland Co.

Last week we hosted an event to celebrate some gorgeous new wallpaper designs from our friends at Brier & Byrd as well as the NYC launch of our Kneeland Co. rug collection. It was such a fun kick off to summer! Our own amazing Abby Tabak, set up a super long table in the showroom that we used as our DIY floral bar. I loved seeing all the creativity and laughter shine during this beautiful evening with friends!

Brier & Byrd
Brier & Byrd, a contemporary line of wallpaper by Interior Designer Georgia Tapert Howe & Artist Lia Burke Libaire, is a fresh take on classical, nature-inspired design. From trippy toiles replete with mushrooms, palms, and celestial accents to colorful citrus patterns, it will imbue any space with painterly dimension.

Temple Studio x Kneeland Co.
Kneeland Co., a Los Angeles based vintage textile library, was founded in 2010 by Joanna Williams as a way of sharing her discoveries, inspirations, and ideas. Kate Temple Reynolds, of Temple Studio, met Joanna back in 2017 and was an immediate fan girl of Joanna’s extensive collection as well as her magnetic personality and vast knowledge of historic patterns and motifs. The two companies have now collaborated on a collection of rugs that we hope will bring your design projects the same amount of joy that it gave us to create. Consisting of five designs in various color ways, these rugs are hand crafted by our artisan weaving partners in Nepal and India. Each rug is made custom to your specifications and unique color requests are possible.

Our incredible caterer, Lanie Belmont, made cheese crackers that mimic the rhombus and zigzag shapes in the Kneeland Co Futurismo rugs.

Lanie also made a Rainbow of Mushrooms as a play on Brier & Byrd's Mushroom Party wallpaper. They were hand-painted bite size bread sculptures with a cheese filling that she arranged in a whimsical tower.

Last but certainly not least were these incredibly delicious Blood Orange Slice Iced Mini Cookies to compliment Brier & Byrd's Blood Orange wallpaper pattern.
