Meet Surf Peeps—a laid-back, sun-soaked take on life in the lineup. With a dreamy watercolor wash as the backdrop, tiny surfers and swimmers float, paddle, and catch waves in Mary Matson’s signature hand-drawn style. It’s that feeling of watching the ocean from above—playful, peaceful, and endlessly cool. Perfect for bringing an effortless beach vibe to any space.
Beach People was originally a cardboard cutout sculpture that Mary created in 2019, but we knew it somehow had to be worked into this collaboration. For our Beach Peeps wallpaper, Mary combined the playfulness of these shapes with a brush stroke, sandy background to create one big beach party collage.
Skate Peeps is a pattern that came about from Mary's many visits to Venice Skatepark, a creative and diverse community where seasoned pros and newbies flock to ride the concrete bowls. One of the best things about skateboarding is accepting that wipeouts are inevitable, and this design serves as a happy reminder to get back up and keep shredding.
