On Exhibit: Alice Sergeant + Valentine's Bingo Bonanza

Once upon a time, Valentine’s Day was my least favorite holiday. I really don’t know why, because I’ll pretty much embrace any opportunity to stuff my face with chocolates! But this year Valentine’s has skyrocketed to the top, and that is all due to the incredible team here at Temple Studio throwing themselves full force into our first annual Valentine’s Bingo Bonanza!

We had the best time hosting our fabulous community of designers and friends for an evening of pure bingo fun. Our vendors were kind enough to send us their fabrics to decorate the bingo tables in a festive array of pink and red goodness, and we still have hearts hanging from all corners of the showroom (because they are too sweet to take down just yet).

If you didn’t get to join us then, hopefully this little newsletter delivers you an extra dose of love and please mark your calendars for February 14th, 2025.

P.S. We made a Lovey Dovey playlist in case you are still rockin’ that Valentines’ spirit, happy listening!

For her Andalus collection, Alice manipulated the sprig print with the stripe pattern to coordinate with Alhambra. Her Alhambra collection was inspired by the arches and delicate flowers of the Alhambra Palace.

Here at Temple, we love switching up our in-studio installations. It’s a chance to celebrate and share the work of our brilliant designers… and we get to have a little fun scheming while we’re at it.

Currently, we’re leaning into all things romance (‘tis the season!) with some of Alice Sergeant’s newest textiles on display. We played matchmaker, and paired Alice’s newest fabric collections, Alhambra and Andalus, with one of Helene Blanche’s classic stripes, Moire Stripe in Plum.

Our paneled screen sets the tone with the plum perfect pairing of Alhambra in Plum with Moire Stripe in Plum. The shapely settee is upholstered in Alhambra Mineral with a skirt done up in Andalus Mineral and the sweetest little chair is upholstered in Andalus Antique Blue. Of course we had to add a decorative pillow that we made using Andalus Mustard, with a chic Moire Stripe in Plum surprise trim detail.

Finally, we dressed up our front wall in the beautiful grasscloth, Jasper, also by Alice Sergeant. As the days are warming up and we begin seeing hints of spring (!), we invite you to swing by the studio to check it out for yourself!

Our guests played Bingo at tables dressed in some of our most festive fabrics - Milton Textiles' Magic Eye Sunset Melon, Clare Louise Frost’s Lucky, Ottoline’s Madame Ziggle Pink & Coral, Malika’s Diamond Red, Tulu’s Otto Pink Adras, and The Lawns’ Moonray Blush, Studio Atkinson's Traditional Ticking Red, and Walter G's Hanami Guava
