As spring breaks wide open, Lake August offers a collection of five sheer and semi-sheer fabrics whose patterns tell stories of ocean life and whose movement and drape conjures the interplay of light amid water and sun.
These fabrics are a multi-sensory experience: they sway and shift, transforming in sunlight and shadow. Some are textured like rocks worn down over time by the tides, some are soft as smooth sand. Collectively, they embody the fleeting
moments of clarity in the shifting water of the coastline, as patterns arise and then disappear depending on how and where the light passes through the weave.
